Reports To: Plant Manager


PURPOSE OF POSITION

Ship correct parts, components and products as scheduled according to company and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.


More specifically, the employee owner will:

  • Be familiar with shipping paperwork including but not limited to shipping order, bill of lading, transfer sheet, packing list and UPS tags.
  • Communicate delivery and pickup needs with various truck lines.
  • Assemble and prepare orders for shipment including palletizing according to company and customer specifications.
  • Organize, load and unload orders and/or incoming parts and components on common carriers, private carriers and transfer trucks.
  • Ship via UPS or airfreight companies.
  • Construct Pallets
  • Label and count parts and components.
  • Verify the quality of workmanship for products leaving and entering the facility.
  • Transport products and components between departments, warehouse and plants.
  • Clean and prepare pulleys for painting.
  • Paint pulleys
  • Perform routine maintenance including but not limited to maintaining hand tool, visual related accessories.

  • Fork lift license
  • Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
