Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
  • Maintain machine coolant levels
  • Remove chips/shavings from machines
  • Empty chip tubs using a forklift
  • Change machine coolant when directed
  • Recycle used coolant using Emerson equipment
  • Align with all safety and work instructions.
  • Maintain clear communication within department.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts and motorized ride-on pallet jacks

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • 2 – 3 years experience working in a machine shop
