Patrol Solutions - Security Officer Armed - Los Angeles County

Pay: 

  • Starting pay is $20.00 - $20.50 per hour

Shifts:

  • Thursday - Friday 2300-0600 (Site is located in Inglewood, CA), Saturday 2300-0700, Sunday 2300-0600 (Site located in Pico Rivera, CA) & Monday 2200-0600 (Float Officer - see details below.) 
    • You MUST be able to reliably commute to Inglewood, Pico Rivera & Commerce, CA. This position includes THREE different sites and the schedule cannot be broken apart. 

Float officer (Monday's 2200-0600) - Float officers are trained on multiple sites and are guaranteed a full 8 hour shift per the schedule.

  • During your FLOAT OFFICER shift you may cover different sites who have call offs, assist with vehicle transport and cover officers who leave their shift early due to emergencies.
  • During this shift you will drive your personal vehicle and be paid mileage between your HOME BASE (Commerce, CA) to the site you are covering.

Patrol Solutions is a growing Security Team with continuous training! Come join our team! We are currently hiring Security Professionals in the Los Angeles County area. We are offering immediate positions, flexibility, and excellent competitive pay. We are looking for customer service oriented, friendly staff, willing to engage in a tactful and courteous manner with clients and patrons. 

Minimum Licensing and Permit Requirements: 

  • Must have a valid California Driver's License with a CLEAN Drivers record for the past three years. 
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.
  • Must possess a current BSIS Exposed Firearm License.
  • Must possess a current BSIS Baton Permit 
  • Must possess your own physical Baton 
  • Must possess a current OC / Pepper Spray Certification and canisters
  • Must possess a current CPR / First Aid Certification 
  • Must own all of your own firearm and gear, the company will not be providing them for you.

Qualifications, skills, and education requirements:

  • Previous event and or flex security guard experience
  • Ability to read, write and understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Ability to write and understand English
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.
  • Willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check

Security Professional Responsibilities may include:

  • Possess and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card)
  • Conduct vehicle/foot patrols alone
  • Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.
  • Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.
  • Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
  • Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.

We're looking for an employee to protect our organization’s facilities. You will be responsible for patrolling our facilities and detecting unauthorized activities. Security guard tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations. High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
