Job description

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations within a precision medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inspections, nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, MRBs, quality systems, and production quality initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead quality operations and inspection activities

- Manage quality personnel and processes

- Manage CAPA programs and lead MRB activities

- Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause investigations

- Review first article inspections

- Work directly with machinists and operators

- Support internal and external audits

- Support ISO compliance initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Manufacturing quality experience

- Leadership experience

- CAPA ownership experience

- MRB experience

- Nonconformance management

- Blueprint reading

- Inspection experience

- Strong communication skills

PREFERRED:

- CNC machining background

- Medical device manufacturing experience (ISO 13485)

- FDA-regulated manufacturing experience

- Internal auditing experience
