Aerospace & Defense Strategic Accounts - Contract Manufacturing
Pen Manufacturing is seeking an Aerospace & Defense Strategic Accounts expert to drive growth across commercial aerospace, defense, and government-related manufacturing programs.
This role is responsible for developing and expanding long-term OEM and Tier 1 supplier relationships within aerospace and defense manufacturing ecosystems.
We are seeking a senior commercial leader with deep aerospace and defense industry experience and strong technical understanding of precision manufacturing environments.
Role Overview
• Develop and expand strategic aerospace and defense OEM relationships
• Drive new business across commercial aerospace and defense programs
• Secure multi-year production contracts and manufacturing agreements
• Build executive-level relationships with procurement, engineering, and supply chain leaders
• Lead pricing strategy, RFQ responses, and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure manufacturability and program success
• Support long-term aerospace and defense growth strategy
Ideal Background
• 10-20+ years of aerospace and defense sales or strategic account experience
• Direct experience selling manufacturing services into aerospace or defense required
• Existing relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or defense contractors strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of AS9100, ITAR, and aerospace manufacturing standards
• Background in sheet metal fabrication, welding, or precision machining preferred
• Proven track record of winning complex, high-value production programs
Candidates without direct aerospace and defense manufacturing experience will not be considered.
Compensation: $70,000-130,000
Commission Bonus: $0-300,000+ per year
