Medical Precertification Coordinator
Snelling Staffing has an opening for a Medical Precertification Coordinator with a specialty medical clinic located in Baton Rouge! This position is full time. This position pays $16-$17/hr depending on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contacting health insurance for prior authorizations for surgery
  • Verifying patient benefits
  • Calculating pre-collection costs based on Clinic's contracted rates
  • Staying up to date on precertification requirements and insurance company updates
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of medical insurance experience preferred
  • 1+ years experience in collections or billing preferred
