Job description

We are seeking a dependable and organized Production Assistant to support daily production and field operations. This role works closely with the Production Manager, installation crews, office staff, sales team, and customers to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily production and field operations activities
  • Support scheduling of installation crews, service work, and project readiness
  • Coordinate communication between field crews, office staff, sales representatives, and customers
  • Help ensure crews have the materials, equipment, and information needed to complete projects
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to the Production Manager
  • Assist with job site inspections and quality control processes
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation
  • Support inventory management, material tracking, and equipment organization
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new production team members
  • Help enforce company safety policies and participate in safety meetings
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with resolving operational issues
  • Support both English- and Spanish-speaking team members when applicable
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in production, construction, manufacturing, operations, or project coordination
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with field personnel, customers, and internal teams
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team success.

Physical Demands:
This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional climbing, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance. Work may include pushing or pulling equipment, using hand tools, and operating a computer. Occasional travel to job sites is required, and exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions may occur. Proper PPE will be provided, and reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals.
