Primary Responsibilities:

The RN II Operating Room will:

  • Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care
  • Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic
  • Communicate information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors
  • Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures
  • Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
  • Texas RN license
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • 2+ years RN in Operating Room
  • Singe service line
  • Proven basic computer skills
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • RN experience in Pre-Op, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital setting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 - $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
