Job description

The admissions liaison nurse is essential in the continuum of care for individuals with disabilities or chronic illness. The rehabilitation admissions liaison nurse travels to hospitals, performs activities and duties related to recruitment, in-service education, pre-admission evaluation, and admission of clients to services along the rehabilitation continuum of care. 

Requirements:

  • CA driver's license
  • Registered Nurse current/active California license
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; experience in the rehabilitation of chronically or catastrophically ill or injured individuals preferred
  • Knowledgeable with the resources available for use in assessing regulations and the parameters of third-party reimbursement
  • Good assessment skills and understanding of the insurance and managed care arenas

Pay: $114,400-$135,200/year
