Cardiovascular RN needed at hospital in Newport Beach, CA

COMPENSATION: $90/HR

The Clinical Nurse II – Perioperative role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for assigned patients in a Perioperative unit. Includes: CVOR, Cath Lab, Operating Room, Recovery Room/PACU, Pre-Admission Testing, Pre/Post Unit, HOI Pre-Op, HOI Operating Room, HOI Recovery Room/PACU, HOI Surgery Center

Local contract 3 month contract to start, possibility of extension or conversion depending on business need and/or performance.

Schedule: DAYS - 8 hour shifts 6:30am-3:30pm ON CALL NEED- During the week and 1 weekend a month

Required Skills & Experience:

-2 years OR experience and 1 year Cardiac OR experience required

- Will be supporting open heart surgeries - coronary procedures, bypasses, valve replacements, aortic dissections, etc. Both scrub and circulate experience preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

- CA RN, BLS, ACLS

Preferred: CNOR from CCI
