Adjunct Clinical Faculty Family Nurse Practitioners

Carlow University is currently seeking experienced adjunct clinical faculty Family Nurse Practitioners to oversee clinical rotations in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Programs. Opportunities in the Masters of Science graduate nursing clinical courses include: NU 7481 Clinical Skills Practicum; NU 746 Chronic and Episodic Management of the Family I-NU 7461 Clinical Practicum; NU 747 Chronic and Episodic Management of the Family II-NU 7471 Clinical Practicum; NU 7151 Advanced Practice Role in the Community Clinical; NU 752 Advanced Practice Nursing Women's Health-NU 7521 Clinical Practicum; NU 751 Advanced Practice Nursing Pediatrics-Clinical Practicum NU 7511. Clinical experiences are conducted in the skills and simulation center on campus during immersion week. Course materials and mentoring will be provided.

Ideal candidates are reliable, versatile, and committed to teaching and learning. Candidates must demonstrate and reflect understanding of, and commitment to, the mission and core values of the University and the Sisters of Mercy.

Requirements:

  • Multistate RN and APRN license preferred but not required; Active PA CRNP & RN License. Preferred Additional States: Georgia, Utah, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina
  • MSN, CRNP, National Certification FNP required. National Certification in Pediatrics & Women's Health is required.
  • Active clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Primary Care, Pediatric Care, and Women's Health Care.
  • Experience working with Brightspace learning management system and clinical documentation platforms.
  • Experience mentoring graduate nursing students.
