We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HCA Physician Services which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.  The Practice Manager II directs and supervises the day-to-day functions at Heathrow Internal Medicine and Oviedo Surgery Specialists in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The Practice Manager II is responsible for carrying out all established operational policies to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.  Travel between the two practices is required.  

What you will do in this role:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day functions and activities of the clinics to ensure compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage staff performance including supervising, coaching/counseling front office and clinical staff daily and interviewing, hiring, and training new staff.
  • Address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients and seek out appropriate leaders or partners to solve operational workflow gaps and implement process improvements.
  • Develop the practice budget to manage profit and loss responsibility of the physician practice, while continuously analyzing revenue, expenses and budget targets.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent is highly preferred (appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements)
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting is required
  • Leadership or management experience in physician practice is highly preferred.
