Base salary: $125,698.00 - $142,324.00 per year

Position Highlights:

  • Join busy Neurosurgery practice
  • Team supports Neurosurgery inpatient and outpatient service at two acute care hospitals and a rehab facility for Neurosurgeons, adults and pediatrics
  • Cover inpatient census, first call ER, consults, rounding, coordinates inpatient surgeries
  • Critical Care or Neuroscience bedside nursing clinical experience required
  • Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
  • Assist in OR is optional
  • On-call rotation for holidays, weekends and PTO coverage 
  • Surgical and on call experience preferred
  • Team Camaraderie: Experience a close-knit, supportive neurosurgery team working together.
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
  • Registered Nurse preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
