A growing, family-owned manufacturer is hiring a hands-on Product Design Engineer to drive innovative furniture development from concept through production. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes final products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:โข Design and develop furniture components including frames, foam, and mechanisms
โข Create detailed CAD models and drawings using
SolidWorks and AutoCAD
โข Partner with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into manufacturable products
โข Support prototype builds, testing, and product refinement
โข Improve designs for assembly, efficiency, and production scalability
What We're Looking For:โข Experience in product development (furniture experience strongly preferred)
โข Strong CAD skills:
SolidWorks, AutoCAD
โข Mechanically minded with design-for-manufacturing expertise
โข Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
โข Hands-on approach with ability to support prototyping
