HVAC Service Technician – Year-Round Residential Diagnostics and Advanced Inverter Heat Pump Solutions

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct complex mechanical and electrical operational issues on residential HVAC systems.
  • Navigate advanced diagnostic applications using a provided iPad and iPhone to streamline field communication.
  • Engage outgoingly with homeowners to enroll them in maintenance plans and secure high-value five-star reviews.
  • Commission newly installed heating and cooling systems to verify optimal energy efficiency and customer comfort.
  • Perform meticulous periodic maintenance services while maintaining an exceptionally clean-cut and professional personal appearance.
  • Participate willingly in an alternating on-call rotation and overtime schedules to secure extra compensation.
  • Mentor and train junior service personnel while actively pursuing self-improvement through structured training tracks.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable field experience as an active HVAC service technician.
  • Valid EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerant recovery and system diagnostics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal driving experience paired with a clean driving record.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 20% of your working hours outside a 30-mile radius.
  • Proven technical proficiency using diagnostic multitesters, reading complex schematics, and operating mobile field apps.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Direct technical graduation from an accredited HVAC trade school or technical certification program.
  • Current NATE certification or Building Performance Institute (BPI) credentials.
  • Prior experience diagnosing and repairing residential inverter heat pump systems and gas-to-electric conversions.
