Duties / Responsibilities of this position: 

This individual must be able to communicate and interact in a positive manner with co-workers and customers to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit all supporting quality documentation per customer requirements for samples, prototypes, engineering changes and new parts (PPAP) on time including all elements of the AIAG PPAP including but not limited to; warrant (PSW), dimensional layout, capability, FMEAs, control plan, internal and customer print, retained samples, gage R&R's, process flow diagrams, design records, test results, and process performances studies. 
  • Review all prints/ mylars for compliance to best practices, design engineering standards, and verification that customer prints match L&L print/ requirements. 
  • Responsible for using all forms, manuals, and customer portal applications per customer requirements and ensuring the latest requirements are cataloged within the document control process. 
  • Participate in APQP Gate Review Process and Oracle workflows with ability to manage, track, follow-up, communicate status of assigned PPAP responsibilities. 
  • Complete and update all necessary paperwork for manufacturing Oracle inspection report collection plans. 
  • Verify gage R&Rs for all quality and manufacturing gages being used in production to be complete and meet customer requirements before PPAP submission. 
  • Obtain and verify calibration records for all measurement equipment is up to date for the respective PPAP prior to submission. 
  • Request and coordinate data retrieval for required dimensional and material performance reports.  Prepare statistical analysis of capability studies using Minitab software. 
  • Maintain and file all records relating to Advanced Quality Planning, Submissions (samples, prototypes, Engineering changes and PPAP's), and customer specifications. 
  • IMDS submissions per customer requirements. 
  • Upload PPAP submissions and customer approvals/ PSW to customer portals and Oracle respectively. 
  • Prototype PPAPs per customer specific requirements. 
  • KPI for on-time PPAP submission and first past yield meeting targeted KPI goals. 
  • Review and record supplier PPAPs utilizing review sheet for KPI objectives. 
  • Coordination and tracking of annual validations. 
  • Support customer requests and provide timely communication with customers, suppliers, and cross functional team. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively with team members, foster positive relationships and the ongoing development of jobrelated knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to evolving requirements, priorities, and regulatory expectations.
Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 manufacturing experience
