Job description

OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer with strong expertise in Active Directory and PowerShell scripting to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our Windows-based systems and directory services while automating routine administrative tasks through PowerShell. GENERAL DUTIES: * Manage, maintain, and support Windows Server environments , including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Design, implement, and troubleshoot Active Directory , Group Policy , DNS , and DHCP configurations. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and operational efficiency. * Support and enforce security best practices across the Windows infrastructure, including user access controls and system hardening.

Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to deliver integrated and secure solutions. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning and execution. * Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows Systems or Infrastructure Engineer. Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration. * Deep knowledge of Active Directory , Group Policy , DNS , and DHCP .

Proven experience in PowerShell scripting and automation . Solid understanding of Windows security principles , permissions, and authentication mechanisms. * Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred) is a plus.
