Senior Dynamics 365 CE / CRM & Power Platform Developer/Dual-Write โ€“ Up to $160K โ€“ Hybrid โ€“ Dallas, TX


I am currently working with a leading organization seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) / CRM Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise CRM solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.


This role is ideal for an experienced D365 CE Technical Developer who enjoys hands-on development, technical design, integrations, and working closely with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable Microsoft solutions.

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing solutions across Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Marketing), Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure integrations, and modern Microsoft technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure custom solutions within Dynamics 365 CE, including plugins, custom workflows, JavaScript/TypeScript web resources, and automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
  • Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and internal/external systems using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Dataverse APIs, and Web APIs.
  • Lead technical design sessions, create technical specifications, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage solution architecture across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
  • Support ALM processes including Azure DevOps pipelines, source control, solution packaging, and automated deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex CRM performance, data, security, and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform roadmap updates and recommend new technology adoption.
  • Support Dynamics 365 CE security model design including business units, teams, roles, and field-level security.


Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Dynamics CRM.
  • Strong experience across Dynamics 365 CE modules including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and/or Marketing.
  • Strong proficiency with C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, plugins, workflows, and Dataverse development.
  • Experience building solutions using Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas), Power Automate, and Power Pages/Portals.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse data modelling, relationships, security roles, and solution architecture.
  • Experience with Dual-write and master data integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and Finance & Supply Chain solutions.
  • Experience with Azure integration services including:
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Bus
  • API Management
  • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and Web API development.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Dynamics solution lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 CE security, licensing, and deployment best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Experience integrating Power BI and embedded analytics into Dynamics solutions.

  • Previous experience within a Microsoft Partner or consulting environment.
