Compensación:

  • $20.00 - $30.00 por hora, según experiencia y nivel de habilidades.

  • Viáticos (Per Diem): $100 por cada día trabajado para candidatos que residan a más de 60 millas del lugar del proyecto.

Responsabilidades
  • Instalar, reparar y dar mantenimiento a sistemas de techado comercial, incluyendo TPO, EPDM, PVC, betún modificado (Modified Bitumen) y BUR (Built-Up Roofing).

  • Medir, cortar e instalar materiales de techado conforme a los planos, especificaciones del proyecto y recomendaciones del fabricante.

  • Realizar remoción de techos existentes (tear-off), instalación de aislamiento, tapajuntas (flashing), bordes metálicos, drenajes e impermeabilización.

  • Instalar sistemas TPO mediante soldadura por calor y fijar sistemas EPDM de forma mecánica.

  • Identificar y reparar filtraciones, perforaciones y otras fallas en los sistemas de techado.

  • Interpretar planos y documentación del proyecto.

Requisitos
  • Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en techado comercial.

  • Capacidad para levantar materiales pesados y trabajar en alturas bajo diversas condiciones climáticas.

  • Aptitud mecánica y conocimientos básicos de matemáticas.

  • Experiencia utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas.

  • Contar con herramientas propias y equipo de protección personal (PPE).

  • Licencia de conducir válida.

Currently hiring for commercial roofers in Wichita, KS to join our team. Pay is $20 - $30 per hour based on skill set and level of experience. Per diem is offered at $100/each day worked if you reside more than 60 miles from the job site. If you have 2+ years experience with commercial roofer apply now!

Commercial Roofer Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair and maintain commercial roofing systems - including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and BUR (built-up roofing)
  • Measure, cut, and install roofing materials according to project and manufacturer guidelines and specifications
  • Perform roof tear-offs, insulation installation, flashing, edge metal, drains, and waterproofing
  • Install and heat-weld TPO systems and mechanically fasten EPDM
  • Identify and repair leaks and punctures as needed
  • Read blueprint and project plans

Commercial Roofer Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of commercial roofing experience
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and comfortable working at heights in varying weather conditions
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Your own tools and PPE
  • Valid Driver's License
