To nurture a culture of safety and to fulfill its regulatory commitments, Dominion Energy's Nuclear Business Unit (NBU) operates an Employee Concerns Department (ECP). The ECP provides technical, investigative and administrative direction for both fleetwide and site-specific nuclear safety programs. Areas of focus will include plant operations, radiological releases, safeguards, radiation protection, and other matters relating to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulated activities.

- Responsible for the implementation of an effective concerns tracking program and the identification and reporting of trends
- Provides advice to Plant and Employee Concerns Program management with regards to addressing concerns and trends
- Provides a listening ear to employee issues, assisting employees with the appropriate pathway for concerns and issues. Provides training on topics related to ECP and facilitates employee group meetings with regards to Safety Culture
- The nature of the work may require periods of heavy workload and involve irregular or unpredictable hours of work
- Periodically there may be considerable work pressures involving delicate and/or potentially serious matters related to major functions of the NBU or involving several employees.
