Job description

Willis Americas Administration, Inc. seeks East Coast Lead Property Broker - Power and Renewables in New York, NY to serve as insurance broking lead for East Coast Power and Renewable Energy Business. Manage specialty placement and technical support to the broader Natural Resources team by placing Renewable Energy risks, which may include property and casualty, construction, and operations risks, within the London market. Support producers targeting Renewable Energy and Power Generation targets in New York City. Deliver market intelligence for strategy meetings and utilize available resources globally. Negotiate premiums, coverages, and terms with carriers. Attend and participate in industry events such as AEGIS, Infocast, and Internal global events. Comply with WTW Excellence Model Management requirements. Supervise the work of two Associate Brokers and 1 Lead Broker. Up to 25% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting permitted 1 day per week.

LOCATION:

Willis Americas Administration, Inc., 200 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10006. 

SALARY:

$175,000 to $210,000/year 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree or equivalent (any field) and 4 years of experience in the offered role or closely related role. Requires 4 years of experience with all of the following: Diverse Risk Management Strategies in Power, Utilities and Renewable Energy including Commercial Renewable Energy and Power Property and Casualty Insurance; Working with global Power, Utilities and Renewable Energy insurance partners and brokers in London and in at least 2 of the following markets: Europe, Latin America, or Asia; Negotiating placements in the Power, Utilities and Renewable Energy insurance industry; Leading others to secure property placement coverage; and Driving strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives through

effective stakeholder engagement.
