Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and automated workflows using Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights while ensuring performance, reliability, and data governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development & Reporting
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and visual analytics.
  • Create and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX expressions, and relationships to ensure accurate and performant reporting.
  • Troubleshoot, tune, and maintain existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Power Automate & Workflow Automation
  • Build, deploy, and manage automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and approval workflows).
  • Monitor, schedule, and maintain automated data refreshes and workflows.
Data Integration & Platforms
  • Integrate Power BI and Power Automate with multiple data sources and services including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ensure secure and reliable data connectivity and refresh strategies.
Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable BI and automation solutions.
  • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Governance, Support & Enablement
  • Implement Power BI workspace governance, security, and best practices.
  • Train and support end users on Power BI reports and Power Automate flows.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure solution reliability and user adoption.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform enhancements and recommend improvements to BI and automation solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
  • Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud, desktop, approvals).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Experience working with SharePoint, APIs, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proven ability to design high-performance, user-friendly dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
