Job description

Job Title

The Contractor shall provide Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services to support the Department’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Bureau of Enterprise Applications, to lead and participate in activities supporting the creation, design, and delivery of both reports and dashboards using various Departmental datasets and Power BI.

Contractor Responsibilities

  • Business Intelligence Architect. The Contractor, through the Business Intelligence Architect it provides, shall perform the following tasks as necessary to complete work for the OIT as assigned by the Department’s Contract Manager:
    • Lead the design and support of business intelligence applications and architecture.
    • Work with business and IT management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
    • Optimize the performance of the department's business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience in experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Experience leading the design and support of business intelligence applications and architecture.
  • Experience working with business and IT management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements
  • Experience optimizing the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills. (Proficient in English)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading and participating in activities supporting the creation, design, and delivery of both reports and dashboards using various datasets and Power BI.
