Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps supporting OEM mission and administrative processes.
  • Create, modernize, and optimize Power Automate workflows for approvals, reporting, information collection, task automation, data movement, and operational notifications.
  • Develop Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, and security models where appropriate.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Graph, and approved third-party APIs.
  • Implement Power Automate reliability engineering practices including scopes, child flows, modular design, retry handling, exception handling, logging, alerting, and operational monitoring.
  • Perform Power Apps performance optimization, delegation compliance checks, UI/UX improvements, and accessibility remediation.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, prototyping, iterative development, testing, UAT support, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
  • Prepare developer documentation, solution diagrams, deployment notes, user guides, and knowledge transfer materials for OEM staff.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Advanced experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Fx, Dataverse, SharePoint lists/libraries, and Microsoft 365 integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, custom connectors, and third-party API consumption
  • Prior direct experience supporting/ developing applications for Department of Interior.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, maintainable, and delegation-compliant Power Platform applications.
  • Experience with testing, UAT support, deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation in a Federal or regulated IT environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOI Public Trust suitability.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Department of the Interior, OEM, IBC, DOI bureau, emergency management, continuity operations, Federal Power Platform, or Federal Microsoft 365 experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
  • Experience developing applications for incident reporting, watch operations, resource tracking, contact management, purchase tracking, budgeting, or continuity/emergency operations.
