Software Engineer II - To support the following:• Design, configure, implement and deploy SharePoint custom solutions to support business processes using SharePoint 2010 and 2013 out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities and SharePoint Designer 2010 and 2013oDesign/develop custom content types to support, enhance and facilitate business processes and related dataoDesign/develop custom calculations to enhance business and process related metrics and Key Performance IndicatorsoDesign/develop Key Performance Indicator lists that integrate with custom business solutionsoDesign/develop custom dashboards using OOTB capabilities and SharePoint designeroDesign/develop custom workflows using OOTB capabilities and SharePoint Designer to enhance, support and facilitate business process related dataoDevelop custom Data View Web Parts using SharePoint designer• Enhance SharePoint business solution user experience via use of Javascript and/or jQuery• Provide support for deployed custom SharePoint solutions and workflows• Participate in and sometimes lead business solution design presentations and reviews• Participate in and sometimes lead facilitated process sessions with customer to elicit processes and requirements for SharePoint business solutions• Provide peer feedback and technical support to other SharePoint designers and participate in design team process improvement efforts• Provide SharePoint technical support and mentoring for project team members, external stakeholders and other designers• Collaborate with external support and technical teams to ensure SharePoint development efforts integrate with Enterprise architectural framework• Define and plan SharePoint solution releases• Create and maintain project documentation, presentations, tracking, and task related artifacts in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Excel, Visio and PowerPointNo travel is anticipated in the performance of this task.

The following special technical skills are also REQUIRED:• Experience or familiarity with SharePoint 2013 OOTB capabilities and/or Designer• Four or more years of experience designing and implementing custom business solutions using SharePoint 2010 OOTB capabilities and/or SharePoint Designer, configuring SharePoint sites, sub-sites and user permissions, and managing SharePoint site collections • Three or more years of experience with SharePoint tools in 2010 including: Site Definitions, Web Parts, Custom Navigation, Content Types, Search Features, Master Pages, Site Templates and Page Layouts, SharePoint Designer• Knowledge and a minimum of one or more years of applied experience supporting an Enterprise-wide instantiation of SharePoint 2010 with Site Collection permissions• Familiarity with SharePoint 2013 tools and capabilities• Strong understanding of and at least three years of practical experience in how to implement permissions in SharePoint within a site collection as well as within business solution designsIn addition to the minimum required capabilities and qualifications specified in the following special technical skills are also PREFERRED but not required:• Four or more years of experience using Javascript and jQuery with websites/ SharePoint to enhance the user experience• Four or more years of experience using REST/web services to develop business solutions and enhance the user experience• Training in SharePoint 2013• Knowledge of Industry and Agency security best practices• Familiarity with Agency policies and directives as they apply to IT infrastructure and applications• General understanding of SharePoint Architecture (site collections, sites, etc.)• Understanding of the corporate instantiation of SharePoint within the client environment• Working knowledge of SharePoint 'content type' based workflows for the creation, routing and management of documents in SharePoint• Working knowledge of SharePoint metadata management• Understanding and experience in applying software control and change management techniques to software or systems development efforts• At least 8 years of experience in general software/system engineering techniques and have strong knowledge of operational software development, architecture and governance methods• Knowledge of general distributed processing methodology, web-based architectures and technology, and organizational development and design• Experience leading systems definition, trade-off, analysis of system requirements and components, and system design activities• Experience conducting facilitated process sessions to capture process-related information for instrumentation in SharePoint• Experience in defining and modeling business processes and workflows and identifying mechanisms and approaches for process improvement and/or automation • Perform technical analysis of new and existing capability requirements focusing on mission needs and functional requirements, end-to-end integration and dataflow functionality
