Senior Associates use problem-solving principles, processes and methods and complementary software applications to support client engagements and have a direct and significant impact on deliverables to clients. Responsibilities

  • Support a new, fast-paced, high visibility client in making data-driven decisions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of your clients and their needs; overall project objectives and their relationship to client needs; how your work fits in achieving project objectives; how other project team members’ work relates to your work and project objectives (i.e., acquire situational awareness).
  • Establish digital processes to facilitate workflows, automate processes, and collect data. Implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to replace data calls with automated solutions that allow for rapid insights.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards summarizing data stored on the client environment (Flankspeed) and publish Power BI products to a production environment with automated daily data refresh from the underlying Excel files.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve client workflows through results driven automation best practices
  • Support establishment of a robust data architecture and enterprise data management process. Collect and aggregate existing data from authoritative sources, develop and implement necessary extract-transform-load processes that load data into a centralized repository for analysis.
  • Support development of the necessary data pipelines from external sources such as ADVANA, Palantir, Azure, etc., to transform raw data into analysis-quality data through easy, low-cost continuing operations to ensure up-to-date data.
  • Support development of data governance and guidance documentation required to capture data necessary for perform execution functions to include the data format, structure, and periodicity of reporting.
  • Prepare written documentation (e.g., technical reports, presentations) describing the data and analytical techniques used, results produced and associated insights and recommendations
  • Verbally explain/defend in-process and completed work to colleagues and clients in informal and formal settings
  • Develop proficiency in various software applications to support solving client problems in an efficient, repeatable, intuitive, and transparent manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of quantitative analysis and problem-solving experience
  • Experience utilizing process automation tools, preferably power automate, to streamline data collection and streamline program actions
  • Ability to independently understand and digest the current client workflow and identify potential avenues for process automation improvements
  • Self-starter who is creative, inquisitive, quantitative, and enjoys solving challenging problems in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical work in writing and verbally
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work products at the same time
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience supporting the Navy and/or a rapid capabilities office
  • Familiarity with Advana, Palantir, or other enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience in data languages like R, Python or SQL
