Trailhead Lodge is Central Oregon's year-round basecamp for adventure and community. Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Attendant- AKA.Cafe All-Rounderis a hands-on, guest-facing role responsible for preparing and serving all food and beverage offerings within Trailhead Lodge's cafe and communal spaces. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, social environment for guests and locals.

This role combinesfood preparation, beverage service, and guest interaction, requiring an individual who is comfortable working both behind the counter and directly with guests in a fast-paced, casual cafe setting.

Food & Beverage Operations

  • Prepare and assemble food and beverage items, including grab-and-go offerings, light fare, coffee, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Follow established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards across all prep and service areas.

  • Support basic kitchen operations, including prepping ingredients, stocking, and organization.

  • Monitor product quality and ensure all offerings meet Trailhead Lodge standards.

Role Structure & Accountability

  • Work is performed under the direction of the Guest Experience Supervisor/Manager

  • Serves as a foundational role with growth potential toward Guest Experience Supervisor responsibilities.

  • Success is measured through guest satisfaction, teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Onsite position at Trailhead Lodge.

  • Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on business needs.

  • Property operates yearround.

Interpersonal Contacts

  • Works directly with the Guest ExperienceManager, Guest ExperienceSupervisor,Guest Experience Attendants,and fellow F & B Attendants.

  • Collaborates with Housekeeping, Facilities, Night Audit, and Events teams.

  • Interacts daily with lodge guests and community visitors.

Secondary Function

  • Provide operational support to Events and Activities during highvolume periods or staffing gaps.

  • Act as an escalation point for guest concerns when the Guest ExperienceSupervisor or Manageris unavailable.

  • Partner crossfunctionally to support efficient workorder communication and guest issue resolution.

  • Assist with reinforcing guest service training and standards across the lodge.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • PriorF & Bexperience.

  • Outgoing personality with a genuine desire to host and help people.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests.

  • Ability to remain calm, friendly, and solutionoriented in fastpaced environments.

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, multisystem environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and guest confidentiality.

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate guestfacing technology platforms, including reservation systems, POS systems, and CRM tools.

  • Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) (e.g., Stay N Touch, Cloudbeds, Roommaster, Maestro, Mews, or similar systems).

  • Working knowledge of OTA and channel management platforms (e.g., SiteMinder or comparable systems).

  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Physical Capabilities & Job Conditions

  • Ability to perform physical tasks as required to fulfill the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Certification Requirementsand Compliance

  • Oregon Food Handler Card.

  • OLCC Alcohol Service Permit.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 3+ years in a similar role.
