Job Summary:

ThePorter atplays a vital role inensuring thatguests have a smooth and pleasant arrival and departure experience. As a member of the Front Desk team, the Porterassistsguests with their luggage, provides directions, escorts guests to their rooms, and helps with any special requests or needs during their stay. This position also supports thefront desk with administrative tasks and ensures guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in a friendly and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide assistance with luggage, ensuring a warm and welcoming first impression.

• Escort guests to their rooms,assistwith parking directions, and explain room amenities and features.

• Respond to guest requests, such as delivering extra amenities (pillows, towels, etc.) or providing directions and information about the lodge and park.

• Support the front desk team byassistingwith check-ins, check-outs, and answering general guest inquiries.

• Assistwithmaintainingthe cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.

• Assistwith transporting luggage and other items to and from rooms or storage areas.

• Communicateany guest service concerns or maintenance issues promptly to theappropriate departmentfor resolution.

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, acting as an ambassador for Zion Lodge and ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.

• Helpmaintaina clean and orderly front entrance, ensuring walkways are clear of debris, snow, and obstacles.

• Functions as an ambassador of Destination Zion Lodge, modeling and sharing the Zion "culture" with our guests and employees. Upholds the most professional image. Continually strives to exceed our guest's expectations and create memories for our guests and staff.

Work Location:

• Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business,housing will be provided on-siteand commuting fromthe local vicinity is also acceptable.

• Due to the nature of our business,Zion Lodgeis open every day.You must be prepared toworka schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Able to work and thrive inZionNational Park.

• Previoushospitality or customer service experiencepreferred, butnotrequired.

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including luggage, up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the lodge for extended periods of time.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with a positive attitude.

• Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. Itisyourresponsibilitytoreportdefective,damagedorlostPPE,orequipmentthatdoesnotfit properly, to yourManager.
