Job Details:

  • Monday - Friday 6AM-2:30PM

  • Temp to Hire

  • $17/hr+(based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metal and other components for the powder coating process, including cleaning, masking, and inspecting for defects.

  • Operate all powder coating equipment, including spray guns, powder booths, recovery systems, and industrial ovens.

  • Accurately monitor machine gauges and the general operation of equipment to ensure parts are coated to specification.

  • Adjust settings to control paint flow, spray pattern, and overall application quality; perform visual inspections throughout the process.

  • Follow established procedures and safety protocols while handling thermosetting resin coatings, pretreatments, and washing systems.

  • Load and unload parts properly onto the racks or conveyors, ensuring parts are spaced and hung correctly for even coating.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper maintenance and minor repairs of spray equipment.

  • Package and protect completed products in preparation for shipment, following quality and safety guidelines.

  • Identify, label, weigh, and return unused powder coating materials to their designated storage locations.

  • Assist with general production or finishing duties as needed to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a powder coating or industrial painting environment (preferred).

  • Familiarity with powder coating materials and application techniques.

  • Understanding of the curing/baking process and ability to set oven temperatures and times accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
