SUMMARY
Dezerland Park Orlando is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Auto Body & Car Wrap Installer to join our team. This role combines classic car restoration expertise with advanced vehicle wrap installation. The ideal candidate will work with a variety of unique and iconic vehicles, restoring them to their original form while also applying high-quality wraps, graphics, and finishes for display, promotional, and museum purposes. This position requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for automotive aesthetics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Auto Body & Restoration
  • Perform automotive parts replacement, including chrome trim, emblems, and bumper removal/installation.
  • Complete automotive body repairs such as sanding, fiberglass repair, and surface preparation.
  • Conduct metal sandblasting to restore smooth surfaces.
  • Perform powder coating and refinishing of parts.
  • Execute paint correction to restore vehicle finishes.
  • Wet sand, polish, and apply ceramic coatings to vehicles.
  • Refinish auto glass and restore/polish chrome components.

Vehicle Wrap & Graphics Installation
  • Install full wraps, partial wraps, decals, lettering, and specialty vinyl graphics.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces through cleaning, inspection, and proper treatment prior to installation.
  • Measure, cut, and apply vinyl graphics according to specifications and layouts.
  • Remove wraps, decals, and adhesive residue without damaging surfaces.
  • Perform wrap repairs, touch-ups, and post-installation quality checks.

General Responsibilities
  • Operate tools and equipment including sanders, heat guns, cutting tools, laminators, and polishing equipment safely.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with management, marketing, and design teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Notify management of additional repairs, delays, or issues affecting job quality or timeline.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
  • Follow all safety standards, including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with signage installation and other operational tasks when needed.
  • Document completed work through photos for quality control and records.

  • Qualifications
    Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive repair, restoration, or vehicle wrap installation.
  • Experience working on classic, collector, or specialty vehicles a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various physical positions.
