Job description

Support new families during one of life’s most meaningful moments.

We’re seeking compassionate and skilled Postpartum Registered Nurses who are passionate about caring for mothers and newborns during the critical post‐delivery period. If you enjoy patient education, family‐centered care, and supporting healthy transitions home, this role offers purpose and impact every shift.

Schedule

  • 7a or 7p | 12‐Hour Shifts
  • Per Diem flexibility

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients following vaginal or cesarean deliveries
  • Assess maternal recovery, including vital signs, pain management, uterine tone, and incision care
  • Monitor newborns for feeding tolerance, bonding, and overall, well‐being
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered for mother and newborn
  • Support and educate parents on newborn care, feeding, recovery expectations, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with obstetric providers, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Identify and respond to postpartum or newborn complications promptly
  • Document assessments, education, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Postpartum, Mother‐Baby, or L&D experience required
  • BLS required (NRP preferred)
  • Strong assessment, teaching, and patient‐education skills
  • Compassionate, family‐centered approach to care
  • Ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast‐paced maternal‐child environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
