HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : LDRP 9 beds, OBED 1 bed, NICU 4 beds, 1 OR suite

·         Patient Ratios : 1:1 active labors, inductions, C-sections, couplet care 1:3,  newborns 1:1 until stable, NICU 1:3 intermediate care, but 2 NICU nurses must be in the unit if there are

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : no techs or unit secretaries

·         Type of equipment: CPN Central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatologist, bili-blankets, PCA pumps

·         Documentation system: Meditech and CPN

·         Scheduling requirements: FT 3 shifts per wk., rotating weekend and holidays, PRN’s to complete

·         Floating policy: regular staff, if scheduled and not needed on the unit, are expected to float anywhere within the facility as needed, some staff are cross trained to float between LDRP & NICU

·         Patient Experience requirements: daily rounding on all patients, SAFETY rounding
