Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to accurately identify clients’ mental health needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding of personal and family history.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that effectively address the unique goals and challenges of each client, including managing stress, anxiety, and postpartum depression.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment strategies as needed to achieve the best outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and community resources to create integrated care plans for clients.
• Participate in regular supervision and peer consultation sessions to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on supporting postpartum mothers and their families. Clients may experience a range of conditions, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues related to the transition to parenthood. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with this demographic and committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to establish rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in treatment methodologies backed by research in the mental health field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically working with maternal mental health issues and postpartum challenges is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.
• Previous participation in community outreach or mental health workshops focused on maternal health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
