Labor & Delivery - Registered Nurse

Schedule: Weekends: Required — every other weekend On-call: Yes — may have one on-call shift per pay period during low census

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, STABLE EMR: Epic Core clinical skills: Labor & delivery care (LDRP), vaginal delivery assistance, fetal monitoring, neonatal care, high-risk antepartum/postpartum, procedural skills including sterile vaginal exams and IV management.

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and postpartum. Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond to changes in condition. Perform newborn assessments and resuscitation as needed. Manage high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. Educate patients on breastfeeding and discharge instructions.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 72 hours Pre-approved time off: One request pre-approved Holiday coverage: Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
