Travel Registered Nurse (RN) L&D

Schedule: Weekends: Every other weekend required On-call: Yes — up to one on-call shift every 2 weeks if low census

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, STABLE
  • Experience in Labor & Delivery (LDRP), including postpartum

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for laboring and postpartum patients, adhering to AWHONN standards for staffing ratios.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor progression, including vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
  • Support breastfeeding and newborn assessments while ensuring couplet care for mothers and infants.
  • Manage postpartum complications, including hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia, and assist with TOLAC/VBAC management.
  • Administer medications, manage IV and infusion pumps, and monitor epidural analgesia.
