Description
Are you interested in being part of a team that is dedicated to delivering postal and messenger mail servicesto agencies within state government? If so, this is your opportunity to work for the Division of PostalServices.
We are looking to hire a Postal Technician I. As an entry level Postal Technician, you will receive theguidance, direction and training needed to be successful, and to assist the cabinet's efforts to providecentralized support services to all agencies of state government.
Our office is conveniently located in Frankfort with parking just steps away from the building. We offerflexible scheduling, on the job training, and monthly vacation and sick leave.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Perform under general supervision duties for postal processing within the Messenger Section.
  • Sorting and delivering mail to state agencies in Frankfort.
  • Process outgoing mail through a postage meter and deliver processed mail to the United States PostOffice
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Operate a state-owned vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Required to be available to work overtime asneeded.

EDUCATION:High school graduate.

Working Conditions
