One of our direct client, a BigData & Data Science major is implementing BigData solution at end client site and is looking for a strong Postgres DBA to implement Postgres in BigData environment. This is a long term position with confirmed assignment for 6+ months.
Job Description
  • Must have at least 3+ yrys of exp with Postgresql.
  • Must have at least 9+ yrs of exp in IT
  • We cannot sponsor H1's for now.
  • For corp_to_corp deals
  • We accept only employees on your payroll
  • Payment terms are strictly 45 days from date of invoice.

1.In depth understanding of postgresql internals including configuration for big data deployment
2.Experience in performance tuning of queries
3.Experience on a data warehouse
4.Experience in indexing strategy for performance
