POSITION SPECIFICS
The laboratory of Professor Rongchao Jin in the Department of Chemistry, at The Pennsylvania State University, seeks to fill a postdoctoral research position in the area of femtosecond transient absorption and fluorescence upconversion spectroscopies.
Research will focus on the investigation of ultrafast electron dynamics and mechanism of near-infrared fluorescence of atomically precise nanoclusters of gold and alloys. The successful candidate should demonstrate extensive experience in femtosecond spectroscopy and photophysics for atomically precise nanocluster.
Applicants must have recently received, or be scheduled to receive, a Ph.D. in Chemistry by the time employment starts. The individual should beself-motivated and is expected to lead the projects, as well as contribute to collaborative research efforts.
