WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – FULL TIME

Galls is looking for a Warehouse Associate – Full Time (Lenexa, KS) Monday – Friday Day Shift

As a Warehouse Associate at a Galls Retail Store (Branch), you are responsible for all aspects of back of house functions. You will ensure received orders are filled and outbound orders are shipped in a timely and accurate fashion while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Galls will train in all the processes needed to be successful in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Print and sort pick tickets to fulfill orders and match up with packing list and carton shipping label
  • Audit complete orders to assure 100% quality
  • Construct boxes according to size required for order and place appropriate documentation and label on/in box
  • Fill void space in boxes to prepare for shipment and assure box is properly sealed
  • Manifest and load orders for shipment
  • Sort products by location, product number and description. Label product and restock product
  • Perform job task as assigned by Manager
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Restock workstation with appropriate supplies as needed
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace
  • Receive packages specific to contracts and individuals and sort and store according to procedures
  • Work to maintain appropriate inventory levels and accuracy
  • Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Experience working in shipping/receiving preferred. Galls will train!
  • Computer proficiency, and ability to learn new skills – prior Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to orders
  • Ability to complete basic math to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • Highly organized and strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards
  • Willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
