Senior Java Developer (POS Systems)




Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications supporting major platform expansion and technology migration initiatives. This role is ideal for a self-directed engineer who can contribute quickly, collaborate across technical teams, and deliver reliable solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. Experience developing or integrating retail point-of-sale (POS) systems is strongly desired; experience with NCR or Toshiba POS is especially valuable.

  • Job Type: Contract with possible extension and contract-to-hire








  • Location: Pittsburgh, PA, or Anderson, IN onsite preferred; remote candidates may be considered for select openings








  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60.00-$77.00 per hour W2

What You'll Do:






  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.








  • Support the expansion and roadmap of a self-service food-ordering kiosk platform, including customer-facing ordering capabilities and supporting integrations.








  • Help migrate acquired store systems from an on-premises technology stack and Toshiba POS environment to NCR POS.
