About the Role

Project Manager to supervise and coordinate the safe, on-time, on-budget completion of mechanical construction projects. You'll own planning, scheduling, cost control, and labor relations, while building strong client relationships and mentoring Project Engineers. The role offers a high degree of autonomy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and billing schedules
  • Coordinate pre-construction meetings and job walks
  • Produce subcontracts and POs
  • Negotiate with GCs and clients
  • Issue RFIs and cost change orders
  • Apply LEAN principles and support BIM coordination and commissioning
  • Review owner contracts; coordinate trainings
  • Manage and mentor Project Engineers


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years in construction project engineering/management
  • 3+ years in mechanical construction strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage field crews and resolve conflict across diverse teams


Work Environment: Office and construction field settings; may involve site walks, stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
