Job Summary:
eTeam is a company seeking a Senior POS Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Retail Point-of-Sale testing and Retail systems. The role involves executing end-to-end test strategies, validating core POS workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Execute POS functional, integration, and UAT cycles.
• Validate core POS workflows including:
• Payments, tenders, loyalty, promotions, store pricing, returns.
• Ensure end-to-end coverage: requirements, edge cases, risk-based scenarios.
• Document test cases, results, defects with high traceability and reporting discipline.
• Partner with Store Ops/Business team/BSA teams for real-world operational validation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong hands-on experience in Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) testing and Retail systems
• Ability to define and execute end-to-end test strategies and comprehensive test scenarios
• Proficient in integration testing across store systems and enterprise applications
• Experience with API validation and troubleshooting (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
• Working knowledge of related retail systems such as: Merchandising applications (item setup, promotions, pricing, contracts and deals)
• Ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive risk identification
