Position Summary

The Associate Director, Operations will join the operations team in direct support of Tang Capital's senior executives and portfolio companies. The Associate Director, Operations will work on a range of projects from industry and company research to data compilation and analysis.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct ad hoc research across multiple industries, including but not limited to life sciences
  • Perform financial and operational analyses to evaluate new and existing investment opportunities
  • Support Tang Capital portfolio companies in strategic initiatives and operational improvements
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm or top-tier financial firm required
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) required
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends, when necessary for time-sensitive matters
