The Edge of Washington is hiring a Porter / Make Ready Technician for our Student Housing Apartment community in Stephenville, TX!


We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, well-kept, and welcoming communities for our residents. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within apartment maintenance and property management. Previous experience in porter work, groundskeeping, make ready, janitorial, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.


Duties:

  • Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
  • Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
  • Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
  • Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
  • Provide residents with outstanding customer service

Requirements

  • At least 12 months of onsite experience
  • Should have knowledge of painting, basic makeready skills, knowledge of appliances
