Comfort Measures, Inc. is a home healthcare agency that offers state-of-the-art home care for the treatment of many illnesses and medical conditions. Our agency specializes in IV infusion therapy. Our mission is to provide our clients with the best quality solutions to their home care needs.
Job Description
Per Diem position in the Bergen County, New Jersey area. Must be available for at least two cases per week. Cases are assigned within a travel time of approximately 15 miles from RN's base of business.
Specialty infusion therapy in patient's home including: IVIG, TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, anti-infective therapy, enzyme replacement, inotropic therapy, hemophilia factor products.
Most patients are seen on a weekly or monthly basis depending on their needs.
  • PICC Line and Central Line Care
  • IV Insertion
  • Central Line Dressing Changes and Lab Drawing (weekly)
  • Port Maintenance
  • Start IVs
  • Accessing and De-accessing Ports
  • Teach patients and caregivers to perform and monitor the administration of home infusion as prescribed.
  • Document all patient-directed activities.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency insertion of peripheral IVs.
  • Current state licensure(s) as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • A minimum of one year recent infusion experience.
  • Must be available for at least two cases a week.
  • Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • BLS certification is required.
