TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support Local operations based in Newark, NJ. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 
CDL A Port Driver Details: 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am Start, Home Daily
  • Pay:  $28/hr + OT after 40, est. $1,500/week
  • Route Type: Local, including NY deliveries
  • Handling: No-touch

CDL A Port Driver Minimum Requirements:  
  • License: CDL A
  • Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
  • TWIC Card
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Port Responsibilities:  
  • Safely operate equipment on local routes 
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
  • Meet the physical demands of the role
