About the Park:

New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, LA. 70126 - This park is a high-end, gated RV resort and marina with villas for rent, restaurant and bar and guest lodge in a marina setting located near Lakefront Airport. The restaurant on site is Lighthouse Bar and Grill where we offer a fun and festive environment with restaurant service, poolside service, game room, big screen TVs and friendly clientele. This property is operated by Applebrook Homes, LLC.

About the Job:

Lighthouse Bar and Grill is seeking a reliable Bartender/Server who is able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends. Must have clean background and reliable transportation. The Bartender/Server will be expected to take pride in their work, and embody a sense of urgency, passion, integrity, dependability and personal responsibility.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and night shifts.
  • Work an average of 25 to 30 hours per week
  • Greet guests and take drink and food orders
  • Stay attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the guests
  • Ensure the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
  • Follow health code standards with regards to the handling of food
  • Perform shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris
  • Bartender must have Bartending/Responsible Vendor card and knowledge of mixology
Experience/Skills Required:
  • 1+ years of waiting experience in a restaurant, hotel or resort (required)
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Bartending/Responsible Vendor card
  • Knowledge of mixology
  • Strong multitasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Capable of following instructions without variation.
  • The capability to work safely, efficiently, and neatly.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends.
