Title: Pool Technician

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (some weekends as needed)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $20-27 (depending on experience)

Job Summary

Our company is looking for a reliable Pool Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will start up & close pools, troubleshoot pool equipment, including but not limited to: automatic covers, pumps, leaks, and electrical issues. You will also measure and reinstall covers and vinyl liners, break out concrete, trowel pool base, use vacuums/nets to help clean debris from various pools, change & clean filters, and troubleshoot all other types of pool equipment. You must have a valid driver's license to drive to client homes. Experience with pumps, heaters, and auto covers is a must. Our ideal candidate is someone with prior pool management or maintenance experience, but we are willing to provide some training if you are a good fit for the job. We expect all of our employees to have a clean and professional demeanor, and a strong customer service skill set.

Position is in Grand Junction, CO - must be willing to live and work in Grand Junction.

Relocation package available.

Job Duties

  • Building pools from the ground up - physical labor , running equipment
  • Startup and shutdown pools for the season
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on swimming pools and related equipment 
  • Clean and maintain pool filters, pumps, and chemical feeders 
  • Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed 
  • Vacuum and skim pool surfaces to remove debris 
  • Repair or replace pool equipment such as motors, heaters, and valves 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool systems 
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed 
  • Repair/reinstall all parts of automatic covers 
  • Install replacement vinyl liners
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Requirements 

  • 2-5 years of experience with pools, landscaping, and physical outdoor work is required
  • Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in pool maintenance and repair
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients and provide excellent customer service
