Job description

Join a dedicated team specializing in high-quality pool installations and outdoor living spaces. As a Pools Division Foreman, you will lead a crew in constructing pools and related features such as patios, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and retaining walls. Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a crew of 2-3 team members to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on all projects
  • Perform hands-on work alongside the crew to complete pool installations and related outdoor features on time and within budget
  • Operate construction equipment such as skid loaders, compactors, laser levels, and mini-excavators
  • Read and interpret blueprints, landscape plans, and pool dig specifications to ensure accurate project layout and installation
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to determine project scope, equipment, and material needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site by securing tools and equipment and eliminating potential hazards daily
  • Load and unload trucks, handle materials, and manage storage of supplies
  • Track job hours, material costs, and crew timesheets; communicate job status and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with the Branch Fleet Manager to maintain equipment, trucks, and trailers
  • Comply with all safety regulations and incident reporting procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid or obtainable state driver’s license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, landscaping, or pool installation
  • Ability to operate a transit or Zip Level, shoot grades, and prepare sites accordingly
  • Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction work
  • Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily activities according to schedule
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk for long periods, and perform strenuous labor in outdoor conditions
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude, pride in workmanship, and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
