We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in our Brand New Store. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while assisting them with their pool care shopping needs. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring that our products are well-stocked and displayed.
Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
• Test Pool water samples and diagnose sample for chemical recommendations.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
• Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for pricing and discounts.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques and practices is advantageous.
• Ability to understand Pool chemistry required- training available
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
